Celebrate National Night Out with Community on Tuesday, August 2

June 22, 2017
Gather your family, neighbors and friends for a great night out at National Night Out held on Tuesday, August 2 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at North School Park, Eastman Street and Arlington Heights Road. Don’t miss this free, fun family event organized by the Arlington Heights Police Department and the Arlington Heights Park District. It’s a great opportunity to learn about crime and drug prevention awareness! This event generates support and participation in local anti-crime efforts to strengthen neighborhood spirit and community relations.

Prior to attending the event, children are invited to submit their very own coloring rendition of “Nat the Knight,” for the Arlington Heights Police National "Knight" Out Coloring Contest! Download the coloring flyer, deadline information and rules. Grand prize winner of each age category will receive $25 in gift certificates. Additional gift certificates will be awarded for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place. This contest is co-sponsored by the Arlington Heights Park District and Police Department.

National Night Out features the Arlington Heights Police Department, Arlington Heights Fire Department, live Police and Fire demos, Union Pacific Railroad, Arlington Heights Crime Stoppers and much more! Experience many informational and interactive displays relating to public safety and Police programs.

While enjoying an informative, fun night at the park, relax and have a picnic by bringing your own or purchasing items from food trucks or a local vendor. Enjoy free popsicles, popcorn, water & soda (while supplies last), balloon sculptors, face painting, business expo, games, bounce houses and free giveaways.
