Autumn Harvest Festival & Fire Department Recognizes Fire Prevention Week, Saturday, October 7

September 5, 2017

Celebrate a fall day with us at Autumn Harvest on Saturday, October 7 in North School Park, from 11 – 3 p.m.!

When you get to the park, be sure to enter the Build-a-Scarecrow competition which begins at 11 a.m. We will supply all you need for this fun activity your family or group of friends. Also enjoy a hayride, kids‘ crafts, the petting zoo and live entertainment, or stop by the Arlington Heights Fire Department displays and demonstrations that will be going on in recognition of Fire Prevention Week!

This year, the Fire Department will be recognizing Fire Prevention Week at Autumn Harvest. This year’s prevention theme is “Every Second Counts: Plan 2 Ways Out.” The interesting things you typically see at a Fire Department Open House will be at Autumn Harvest, including demonstrations and equipment you can explore!

Besides the Fire Department displays, Autumn Harvest will include food and music throughout the day. Entertainment includes local school bands, a performance from Vibe, a dance group from the Arlington Heights Park District, and a magic show.

Mark this event on your calendar and get ready to enjoy a wonderful fall celebration. This event is sponsored by the Village’s Special Events Commission in cooperation with the Arlington Heights Park District. Thanks to our Premium Sponsors of the Special Events Commission – Lutheran Home, First Midwest Bank, Wells Fargo and Paragon Theater!
