Annual House Walk Sunday, May 20
Posted on 05/07/2018

The Arlington Heights Historical Society presents the 25th Annual House Walk from noon-5 p.m. Homeowners of five distinct homes will open their doors to the public showcasing their own unique design and style.  Each home is selected by the Society to accurately represent the diverse neighborhoods that shape Arlington Heights.

Registration will include a lecture by guest speaker, Tory Orlando, of Jaunt Well Traveled Goods that will provide tips and tricks on home décor and maximizing room space within our humble abodes. Lecture will be held at the Museum on the day of the House Walk at 12:30 pm.

Additionally, Courtland's Garage, 1 N. Vail Ave. in downtown Arlington Heights, welcomes all House Walk participants to stop by on the day of the event to show their wristbands when ordering.  All proceeds from participant sales will help support the Arlington Heights Historical Museum. Courtland’s Garage is housed in the historic 1893 building which once served as the Redeker General Store. Artifacts from the Arlington Heights Historical Museum’s collection will be on display showcasing the building’s history.

Advanced registration is $25 for Society members and $30 for nonmembers. Tickets are available on the day of the event with a $5 additional charge.  Participants may register in person at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum (Heritage Gallery entrance), 110 W. Fremont on Tuesday - Friday (10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) and Saturday & Sunday (1:30 - 4:30 p.m.). Credit card purchases can be made online by visiting or by calling (847) 255-1225. Once registered, information on packet pickup will be made available via email or during open business hours.
