We teach internal arts of health, including tai chi chuan, which incorporate stretching and turning within a sequence of movements that improve the health of mind body and spirit. Diligent practice can reduce tension, improve circulation and balance and increase strength and flexibility. We offer daytime, evening and weekend classes. The Taoist Tai Chi Society of the USA is a nonprofit, charitable organization. Instructors are nationally accredited volunteers. Beginner classes start nearly every month. Over a three to four month period, students learn the basics of the 108 move set. After beginning class, students move into continuing class where they learn more sitting and stretching within the set as well as powerful exercises for staminia, flexibility and balance. We have health recover classes for people who have chronic illnesses or are recovering from an injury. We are active in the community, including cooking for PADS. Observers are always welcome.
